Front: The Great Mosque of Muhammad Ali Pasha or Alabaster Mosque in the Citadel of Cairo (1848). Back: Bas-relief from Abu Simbel Temple with pharaonic war chariot: depicting Ramses II fighting the Nubians at the Battle of Kadesh. Bas-reliefs from the Temple of Ptolemy in Edfu depicting Ptolemy II, crowned by two females and another one depicting Gods Osiris and Horus and Goddess Seshat in between them. Relief pharaonic drawing (frieze) on one of the pillars of the Temple of Senusret I (Senwosret I, Sesostris I) at Karnak, depicting king paying homage to Min, the god of fertility. Watermark: Princess Nofret; Electrotype '20'. Security thread: Vertical, segmented, windowed, 4 mm wide metallic security thread that is exposed on the front side of the banknote.
