Back: Agricultural scene depicting N´Dama cattle herder and palm trees. Watermark: Head of a crocodile. Security features: Consecutively running black horizontal and vertical serial numbers in ascending order on the obverse of the bank note. Invisible to the eye denomination block "5", the serial numbers and part of the design fluoresce under ultraviolet light. Vertical, solid, embedded, transparent 1 mm wide security thread with repeated text "THE GAMBIA". Predominant colour: Red. Artist: De La Rue. Engraver: De La Rue.
