Front: Anglo-Irish satirist and poet Jonathan Swift (1667-1745), who became Dean of St Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin. Ancient coat of arms of Dublin from a city council resolution against a letter by Swift from April 1735. Excerpt from a handwriting of Jonathan Swift. Back: Part of a map of Dublin (published by John Rocque in 1756). Great Abbey Street, Astons Quay and the River Liffey are shown in the map. Watermark: Effigy of Lady Hazel Lavery. Security features: Consecutively running red horizontal and black vertical serial numbers on the front of the banknote. Embedded solid 0.3 mm wide security thread.
