Front: Minaret of Al Shamlan Mosque in Kuwait City. Kuwaiti Emblem depicting a golden falcon (Hawk of Quraish) and a Boom sailing ship (dhow). Back: Seif Palace, a symbol of sovereignty and ruling power to all of Kuwaits erstwhile rulers where the countrys affairs are administered. Motifs of Kuwaiti national patterns. Watermark: Boom sailing ship. Security features: Solid, embedded, vertical, 0,5 mm wide, security thread. Consecutively running black serial numbers on the obverse of the banknote. Watermarked paper. Bottom serial number, central part of the (invisible) denomination design on the obverse and the see-through feature (reverse only) fluoresce under ultraviolet light. Predominant colour: Blue.
