Martyrs' Monument (by Italian sculptor Marino Mazzacurati) on Martyrs' Square in Beirut with foliage of Cedar of Lebanon in the background. Watermark: Cedar of Lebanon and Eastern Arabic "10,000" in electrotype. Security features: Coded denomination for the blind. Vertical, segmented, windowed, 3 mm wide security thread with inscription "BDL 10,000" with exposure on the obverse. Consecutively running black serial numbers, in both Eastern and Western Arabic numerals and letters, on the reverse of the banknote. Watermarked paper. Invisible red security fibres (hairs) (front & back), "BDL 10000" in the watermark area and the state emblem on the reverse fluoresce under ultraviolet light.
