Reverse: Palm trees and Murzuq Fortress (Mourzouk, Murzuk, Marzuq) in Fezzan (Fuzzan, Phasania). Watermark: Coat of arms of Libya -- the "Hawk of Qureish". Security features: Solid, embedded, vertical, 1 mm wide, security thread. Consecutively running ascending horizontal green and vertical red serial numbers on the obverse of the banknote. Watermarked paper. Profile portrait of Omar Mukhtar, Arabic text, security thread, serial numbers and the "1/4" denominational block fluoresce under ultraviolet light.
