Yaks (Bos grunniens). Nepal Rastra Bank emblem. Watermark: Rhododendron flower - National flower of Nepal. Security features: Consecutively running black horizontal serial numbers on the obverse of the banknote. Solid, fully embedded 1 mm wide metallic security thread. Invisible to the eye hi-lite numeral '5' and Mt. Chomolungma on both sides fluoresce under ultraviolet light. Main colours: Shades of red: lilac, pink.
