Front: The forgotten Nubian pyramids of Sudan near Meroë that were built by the rulers of the ancient Kushite kingdoms. Back: Merowe hydroelectric dam on the river Nile, that opened in 2009. CBOS emblem. Lintels with ornamental designs. Watermark: Secretarybird (Sagittarius serpentarius); Electrotype 'CBOS' and '100' in Eastern Arabic numerals. Security features: Latent image (CBOS). OVI (Optically Variable Ink) feature in a shape of a Nubian pyramid. Watermark. Running black and red horizontal serial numbers on the obverse of the banknote. Solid, vertical, windowed on the obverse, 4 mm wide polymer Rapid® security thread, bearing 'CBOS' and '100' in Eastern Arabic numerals, that has opposite motion picture that moves up and down if the banknote is tilted sideways and vice versa. The coloured filament fibers (hairs) that fluoresce yellow, blue and red under ultraviolet light. Registration device in a form of a stylized Nubian pyramid. EURion constellation or Omron rings (doughnuts). Tactile feature: Series of intaglio dots on both left and right edges of the banknote. Main colours: Pink and brown. Artist: Unknown.
