who was Uruguayan essayist. He called for the youth of Latin America to reject materialism, to revert back to Greco-Roman habits of free thought and self enrichment, and to develop and concentrate on their culture. Coat of Arms depicting the Sun, a laurel branch, Cerro de Montevideo (Montevideo Hill), a scale, a galloping horse and an ox. Reverse: Monument to José Enrique Rodo in Montevideo.
