Front: Female farmer with traditional vietnamese Non La hat holding a sheaf of rice with a male farmer carrying a hoe. Ornamental draconic guilloche pattern and denomination rosettes. Back: Entrance gate to Le Van Duyet Temple near Saigon (now HoChiMinh). Watermark: None. Signatures: Tu Van Quy (Cashier - Thu-Quy Trung-Uong); Nguyen Van Dong (Chief Inspector - Tong-Kiem-Tra). Main colour: Red. Security features: Running serial number and series in blue ink on the front of the banknote (fluoresces yellow). Coloured planchettes (dots) scattered in paper.
