Front: Two oxen pulling loaded ox cart with farmer in it. Ornamental draconic guilloche pattern and denomination rosettes. Back: Woman with shovel, baskets and Non La (vietnamese style conical hats) near river. Watermark: Absent. Signatures: Tu Van Quy (Cashier - Thu-Quy Trung-Uong); Nguyen Van Dong (Chief Inspector - Tong-Kiem-Tra). Main colour: Brown. Security features: Running serial number and series in blue ink on the front of the banknote (fluoresces yellow). Coloured planchettes (dots) scattered in paper. Wide vertical strip on the left side of the obverse fluorescing under ultraviolet light. Issuer: National Bank of Viet-Nam (Ngân-Hàng Quôc-Gia Viêt Nam). Date of Issue: 12 March 1962.
