Garuda - large legendary humanoid bird creature - national emblem. Garuda standing on and holding Phaya Naga serpent by its tail. Back: Wat Phra Kaeo or Temple of the Emerald Buddha at the Grand Palace in Bangkok with its stupas in the background. Watermark: King Bhumibol Adulyadej wearing spectacles. Security features: Running serial numbers in black, on the front of the banknote, in both, Latin and Thai scripts. Embedded 0.75 mm thick metallic security strip. Dominant colour: Red-brown.
